January 2010 Dear Friends & Partners, Happy New Year! I hope that your Christmas Season has been blessed and that you
are looking forward with hope as you enter 2010. “For I know the plans I have
for you”, declares the Lord. “Plans
to prosper you and not to harm you.
Plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 It is my
prayer that these words will fill your heart with expectancy to receive all
that the Lord has for you in days ahead. May

The Best Christmas Present I Received This Year! Many of you know that Restoring Hope
Ministries strongly believes in missions. One of the ministries dear to
my heart that we support is Love A Child Inc. in Haiti directed by Bobby
and Sherry Burnette. This past October we sent several boxes of Christmas
gifts to Haiti including one box full of cuddly teddy bears. Who would
have thought that a small gesture could make such a precious impact?
Here are some pictures of the toddlers with the teddy bears we sent. Your
support of this ministry helped us put the joy on the faces of these
precious little ones.
Their smiles are priceless and speak a
thousand words! I could not have received a better Christmas present
this year than to know that somehow, in some small way, we had a part in
helping Love A Child change lives in Haiti. Click

update on Love A Child and a thank you to Restoring Hope Ministries. Our First New Year Project! - Since Love A Child
opened its Malnutrition Clinic they are in desperate need of diapers. I
can't think a better way to kick off the new year than with a "Diaper
Drive of Hope"! Through the month of January we will be
collecting donations of disposable diapers, size premie-one year and sending
them to Haiti. These can be new boxes and packages or opened boxes
of sizes that your child or grandchild has outgrown. We only need
to get them to Love A Child's Florida warehouse. PLEASE consider joining us
in this vital project. If you would like to donate to help with our shipping
costs that would also be greatly appreciated. Click here to send a
donation. Extra monies received will be used for
future shipments to Haiti. If you, your local church or community group would like to
