September 2009 Dear Friends, As we enter this fall season, it
is my prayer that you would reap a harvest of blessings and that you would
freely share that harvest with those around you. May the Lord bless you and may your hope be renewed today! Cheryl A. Botelho, Director
Same Vision…New Eyes! I’m sure you have noticed
over this last year that RHM has taken its outreach projects into new
territory. Someone asked me if I had
a new vision for the ministry? The
answer is “No”. But I will tell you
that God has given me new spiritual eyes to see an expanded and larger
vision. He has literally gripped my
heart with an even deeper passion and burden to reach the hurting. My earnest prayer is that my life and my
ministry would become a walking Isaiah 58.
A ministry that looses the chains of the oppressed, heals the hurting,
cares for the widows and the orphans, gives to the poor and feeds the
hungry. And that we would do this in
Jerusalem [our local church], Judea [our community], Samaria [Where no one
else will go] and to the end of the earth [missions]. Since we have stepped out in faith to do
this the ministry has not been the same and I pray it never is again. As fast as we can give what we have to
those in need, the Lord brings us more resources to give again. I invite you to join RHM in what the Lord
is doing. We need prayer partners,
financial support and donated items, and volunteers to labor in the
work. These are vital in helping us
reach even more people with the Love of God. I pray that the Lord would grip your heart with a new passion
to serve him, whether with us or where you are. What an awesome privilege it is to be a servant of the King! Quote of
the Month: “If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just
one” Mother Theresa If you have the ability to touch one person, do it, and
you will have touched the very heart of God.

Brigade”! This will be the arm
for our community outreach projects.
A “brigade” is a group of individuals organized for a specific
purpose. Our purpose is to demonstrate
the love of God by serving in practical ways throughout the community. Watch for upcoming area projects that you
