2008 A Word of Hope Psalm 61:2-3 From
the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me
to the rock that is higher than I.
For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. In the midst of life’s stress, what a blessing to know that there is a place of shelter for us to find. When my heart grows faint from all that presses in around me, I can find my refuge in the Rock who is higher than I. What overwhelming thing do you face today? There is a shelter for you to run to. There is a Rock that will be your refuge. His name is Jesus! Quote of the Month
“The measure
of a Christian is not in the height of his grasp but in the depth of his
love.” -- Clarence Jordan For all the words we can
think to say about God’s love, nothing speaks louder to the world than to see
His love silently in action through us.
