Its Been Launched! RHM has launched its first edition of Word of Hope e-News! Our goal each month is to provide you Devotions, Quotes, Bible Studies, Inspirational tidbits and ministry updates on current projects. We hope that you enjoy it each month and will be encouraged. Because He Lives…we have HOPE! Cheryl A. Botelho President/director A Word of Hope Isaiah 43:19 Desert seasons are something that all Christians experience from time to time. But not until you are in the midst of the dry place do you truly realize how much you need the Living Water to survive. Your thirst is a longing desperation for a fresh flow of His presence. And when it comes as He has promised, the quenching is all the more sweet and satisfying. Could it be the Lord allows the desert so we will long to know Him more? May the Lord make a river in your desert today. Quote of the Month
“No pit is so deep that He is not deeper still” Corrie Ten Boom Corrie was arrested, along with the rest of her devout Christian family, in Holland for hiding Jews during WWII. While there she lost most of her family to the holocaust. Her miraculous release was due to a “clerical” error. To see the movie, watch “The Hiding Place”. It will change you forever. Focus: Worker to need ratio: In North Africa, there is only one Christian pastor or missionary for every two million people. If the ratio of Christian workers to total population that exists in North Africa were applied to the U.S. and Canada, those two countries would have only about 120 full-time Christian workers living in them. Also, there would be only 7 small churches in the entirety of those two countries. Pray for the Lord to send workers into the harvest. RHM Ministry Updates
Networking
Projects: New Haven CT- Starting in August, RHM
will be networking with Teen Challenge helping to expand their Women’s
Support Group into the neighboring community. We will be broadening our outreach by offering a free breakfast
the second Saturday of each month.
Those who attend will be invited to stay for our meeting
after which offers worship, a devotion, prayer and fellowship. Pray that the Lord touches hearts. Salvation Army in Ansonia CT: RHM will be
lending volunteer support to the center's outreach projects to help meet the
needs of the neighboring inner-city.
The facility will soon have the ability to operate a soup kitchen and
already provides groceries on a daily basis in addition to a Tuesday Family
Service and Sunday Worship Service. Volunteer Opportunities: If you live in the CT area and are interested in becoming a part of these projects, please email me. info@restoringhopeministries.org
