Isaiah 42:16  And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

Have you ever felt like you were blind even though your eyes see well?  Sometimes it seems like we can’t see our way ahead.  We seem to be groping in the dark wondering which way to go next.

But the Lord promises to give us new sight.  He promises to lead us when we can’t find our way.  And He promises that He will not forsake us.  He will not leave us to stumble and grope in the dark when we can’t see clearly.  He will come and lead us.  Just like a blind person who is led about by someone must learn to trust another persons eyes, we must also trust that God knows where He is leading us.  We must become dependent on His eyes and trust that He can see clearly even though we may not.

You may be on a road that you don’t understand or the Lord is bringing you by a new way that you are not familiar with.  In our flesh we may fear, but God has said that He will bring us on paths that we have never walked before.  When we are in the dark, He will be light for us.  When things seems bent out of shape God will make them straight again.

Do you feel blind today?  Lean on the Lord.  His eyes see clearly and He will lead you safely on the road ahead even if you don’t know where it leads.

Prayer Suggestion: Lord, thank you that when I cannot see clearly you lead me on the right path.  I trust Your eyes to guide me when I cannot see the way for myself.
